University of Paris 1- Sorbonne M.A. Political Science
University of Cameroon, Yaoundé B.A. French Modern Literature
University of Paris IV-Sorbonne M.A. Communications, CELSA
University of Paris X - Nanterre J.D. Law
In 1972 I graduated from the CELSA, that was at the time a newly created program within Paris IV (Sorbonne) focusing on communication. They now call themselves Graduate School of Journalism and Communications. My graduation thesis was about wrongful advertising.
In 1973 I spent a year in Cameroon as an assistant to the Law School at the University of Yaoundé.
I also took classes and passed the exams for a BA in French Modern Literature.
Back in France in 1974 I finished writing the thesis for a an advanced degree in political science at the Sorbonne (Paris 1). The thesis was about The image of the soldier and the military in French speaking comic books since 1946 (Tintin and many others): I still have a passion for comic books and I have found many of our friends children love Tintin, Asterix and other comic books. They immediately go to fetch one when they come visiting.
So that's 4 years for the JD, two years for the communication degree (CELSA), one year for the BA in French Literature, and two years for the MA in political science.
